One of the UK’s leading hearing aid specialists Hidden Hearing is supporting the charity Digital Pipeline W/A Computers 4 Africa, so far by supplying over 350 pieces of technical equipment. Donations have included hundreds of computer bases, laptops and monitors as well as network cabling and accessories.
Hidden Hearing prides itself on putting customers first and being a nationwide company that cares. By donating equipment they have helped Computers 4 Africa set up new projects and sponsorships for those who really need it. One example is the Uganda Soccer Academy, who thanks to this fantastic charity now have the laptops they need to help run a successful facility for some of the most disadvantaged young people in Uganda. The Academy provides a safe environment in which they can play and also get the education they need and desire.
Peter Symes, Hidden Hearing’s IT Manager had this to say about donating to Computers 4 Africa “We are a large company and like to help out those in need whenever the opportunity arises, and over the years we have supported many charities but I think Computers 4 Africa is a charity I can really feel proud to help. As the IT Manager I get to see what we are donating and how it helps. I enjoy receiving regular updates and newsletters which let us know where our equipment has gone and how it is helping those less fortunate than us. We especially love receiving photographs of classrooms we have aided with equipment; it makes me feel very proud”
Hidden Hearing has pledged to continue supporting Computers 4 Africa and will look forward to continually making a difference.
Hidden Hearing’s ongoing relationship has and is continuing to be life changing to thousands of students across Africa; giving real opportunities for increased career options with high earning potential. On behalf of all the students I thank you and look forward to updating you with more news in the future. Sharon Roberts - Computers 4 Africa
